Benefits of a Breathable Boat Cover
A breathable boat cover will reduce the damp environment inside the boat, which over a period of time could lead to the wood or GRP absorbing water and putting weight onto the boat. On wooden boats a damp interior can also shorten the life of the varnish.

It is 360gms(12oz)/sq m upto 12ft dinghies, 450gms(16oz)/sq m for bigger dinghies (normally).
The fabric is

• and chemically treated to withstand fungus, rotting from bird droppings


this is the latest technical fabric available for Boat Covers - it combines breakthrough UV technology with water resistance and durability and is the perfect balance of science, toughness and style. It is lightweight, water resistant, non sagging and durable. The HydroMax finish also provides excellent breathability to help reduce condensation and mildew.
This fabric has many superior qualities over comparable breathable boat cover fabrics

• High Breathability - reducing dampness, heat build up and condensation. This in turn reduces the chances of problems such as, mould, mildew, osmosis.
• Waterproofness - a highly water repellent impregnated finish gives WeatherMax the ability to protect against heavy rain while keeping its breathability and dimensional stability. The finish is also highly resistant to dirt and staining.
• Twice the Strength - of acrylic and is six times more durable under abrasion and rubbing.
• Shape Retention - the yarns in the fabric can be stretched but recover to their original length. This provides a very stable cover that will not shrink or grow and does not suffer unsightly sagging.

The Importance of a Well Fitting Boat Cover

Your boat is liable to sit on shore for more time than it is actually used and it's care and storage should be of great importance. A snug fitting, well secured boat cover will;
• protect your boat from the UV light, rain, etc.
• keep other matter out, such as leaves, sand, bird droppings etc.
• pollutants in the atmosphere
• and prying eyes

Remember to fit your cover securely, adjusting straps etc as any flapping will cause damage to the boat.

Features on the Boatcovers

Halyard Point
Some flat covers have a halyard attachment point.
This helps to prevent pooling of water on top of the cover.

Buckles
All the straps are fitted with snap buckles, this allows easy fitting of the cover.
You will also receive A FREE SPARE BUCKLE, just in case one is lost.

Openings
If the cover has opening around the shrouds, then we fit a webbing reinforcement and buckles, to help reduce water entry.
