The new 180° Swivel Cleat (HA4988 ) is the successor to original HA4987 swivel cleat design with subtle improvements. The swivel cleat is a fully composite designed mast swivel fitting that is suitable for all control lines, e.g. halyards and cunninghams. This cleat was specifically developed and styled as a successor to the HA 4987 to look better and have improved strength and durability. It can be used on any dinghy and catamaran.

The control line is designed to come from above when the cleat is fixed in the direction as shown. The whole unit can be turn upside down or their is an option where the the sheave is fitted with a clevis pin, so the sheave can be moved to allow the control line to come from above or below. See part AL-A4988-X.
