Heavier duty version with two locking plates and screws the Selden dinghy sliding boom eye vang with fittings is for use with the kicker/vang, also suitable for any other attachment requirements on the underside of a Selden boom.

The eye slides into the track on the underside of the boom and is locked in place with the two locking screws and plates.

Hi John I believe it has one asymmetric end to make it easier to move (wiggle) along the track. I think the square end would go forward for a kicker as slightly better holding with the pivoting angles, the same eye is used on much larger/more powerful dinghies so you could say it's over engineered for a Solo? For position you had best check the Solo rules as they may have a number for that? if not about 45 degrees would be a good starting point Regards David
