Hi Anthony, I suspect it's the larger one but you could do with finding the balance point of the boat with the engine onFinding the balance point1 - Load you dinghy as you would when it's on the trolley.2 - With an assistant, stand on either side of the dinghy and lift it working your way along the boat.3 - As you move along the boat you will find a point where the boat balances evenly.4 - Measure from the very front of the boat to this point.5 - If this measurement is less than 2.7m then the 16.5 trolley is suitable for your boat. 6 - The balance point of the 18.5 is about 3 meters I hope that is of use but please let me know if you have any further queriesRegardsDavid Shilling

Hi TonyOur trolleys are all based around the same dimensions so they fit on our road bases, so if you look at the rear dimensions of a standard trolley they are all the same. The HD trolley is made stronger and does have a double cradle1315mm is the answerRegardsDavid

Hi PaulThe trolley cradle is adjustable so will fit the shape of the Wayfarer hull and the hull is also supported in a forward position to so the boat will be okay. But as the trolley is too long the boat will sit forward on it and be very nose heavy and together with the extra weight of the trolley I would expect it to be quite awkward. Why wouldn't you use our Wayfarer Trolley ?RegardsDavid Shilling

Hi MikeYes it should be fine as long as the nose weight is not too much.If the trolley cradles the boat too far aft then the weight is held on the nose which if too much could damage the nose wheel. It's worth double checking the the balance point from the bow making sure it is just over 3100mmYou can see all the trolley measurements on the extra product diagramsI hope that helpsDavid

The more important measurement is the balance point of your boat as this will determine which trolley.Originally our trolley range was set out to fit sailing dinghies and as a general rule the trolley is named for the length of boat it will fit. However this can change with boats that have engines and or no masts RegardsDavid

Hi AnthonyYes it may well do depending on what engine you have on it.You will need to find the balance point of the boat, measure from that point to the bow where you think the bow snubber on the trolley will meet it. The trolley measurement from cradle to bow support needs to be a slightly greater length than the balance point so there is a bit of weight on the nose (or the boat will ust tip back on the trolley). If you look at the image of the trolleys you should be able to see all the measurements you needThis trolley measures 3100mm from cradle to bow supportRegardsDavid

Hi KennethThe Stratos is 16 foot 2 inches long so it will fit on our trolley for 16 and a half foot boats and a standard trolley will be fine If you want to double check you can measure your existing trolley from bow snubber to axle which should be about 2780mm https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/product-standard-launching-trolley-upto-16ft6-trtra165lt.html RegardsDavid
