Hi Rowan You are right about the service and the new rivets are closed up using a hammer and a flat steel surface (like an anvil) I have serviced these in the past by removing the centre part of the bailer, picking out the old seal and poking the new seal back in, that saves taking it out the boat, sealing it back in and rivets Regards David
