A heavy duty launching trolley for heavy dinghies and small boats upto 16 foot 6 inches long or 5 meters and 250kg weight. Please note if you are putting an outboard motor on the back you will need a longer trolley as this moves the boats balance point aft.
Specification
- A-frame galvanised steel construction, providing long lasting care free use.
- Adjustable double support full width cradle.
- Heavy duty wide 16inch pneumatic tyres, with plastic hubs, totally corrosion resistance.
- High front handle to make handling easier.
- 'D' rubber protector on all supports
- This trolley has a keel roller to protect your boat's keel from damage, while sliding the boat on.
- This trolley is supplied with a rotating nose wheel as standard, which can then be removed for towing.
- Supplied flat packed to allow shipping and supplied with tools and instructions (allow 20 minutes for assembly)
- Fits our Vario 3 Road Base Trailer

Just to correct the terminology used in case of any confusion, this is a launching trolley and not a trailer.The tyres have a max load rating of 280 Kgs which is probably a good guide lineRegardsDavid
Hi RichardThe Heavy duty trolley is approx. 48Kgs and the standard is 30Kgs although with boats (of correct size) on the weight difference isn't that noticeable.RegardsDavid Shilling
Hi Gary, The 185 would be better although the problem is the boat won't be supported properly and the tubes would rub on the wheels. There are solutions to this but I think if you could call us I would discuss through the options available. Many thanks

Hi Sandy This is a trolley designed to go short distances and make launching and recovery from the water easier. If you want to trail it on the road this trolley piggy backs on a Vario 3 road base https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/trident-vario3-roadbase-trailer.html We do supply a tow hitch for a heavy duty trolley but this is only for short and slow distances where a vehicle is used to aid launch and recovery. Hi Rory I'm not sure the heavy duty trolley will fit on a Mersea base as it's made from a larger box section than normal, the trolley has 35mm axles so the 16x4 wheels won't fit on. All the Stratos' I've seen have need on a trolley of a similar construction to our standard trolley Regards David
