Hi, the measurement you require is approx 70mm. We would also advise to take into account the galvanised washer supplied that is 2-3mm. Thanks.

Hi BillyGood question and not one I have a specific answer for sorry. If you are using this for what it is designed for I wouldn't imagine it carrying anything greater than 20 kgs. It is designed to take weights heavier than this as loads on the wheel will increase with use, e.g. when the boat has water in or is on a slip or hits a pot hole in the road.I hope that is of useRegardsDavid

Hi Nigel, sorry but I'm a litttle confused with the above. Did you mean does the bracket come with he nose wheel for £44.95? The bracket for attaching the nose wheel is an extra and there are two sizes depending on the cross setion of your trolley, also some trollies have a fixing tube already welded to the trolley. We also do a jockey wheel that can bolt onto a trailer as below: https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/product-sliding-jockey-wheel-mp431.html Many thanks

Hi Howard We don't do a solid wheel version sorry, we do have replacement inner tubes https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/inner-tube-for-3-inch-wheels.html I haven't tried it on a trolley wheel but you can buy slime to go in bike inner tubes to prevent punctures (the slime seals the hole) it is about £6 at our ASDA or try a bike shop? May be worth a go? And if you do please let me know how you get on Regards David Shilling

Hi Heather The nose wheel needs to fit into a tube to keep it vertical in operation, the hole at the front wouldn't do this which is why we supply a nose wheel bracket. The standard bracket is for our trolleys and those with 30mm box section, there is also a 40mm version available for larger box section trolleys and trailers Regards David

Hi Heather I don't understand the reasoning but small wheels are measured by their total diameter and larger wheels are measured by the size of the rim where the tyre sits. The trolley wheel has a total diameter of nearly 10 inches, see link below https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/trolley-wheel-10-x3-sr-nosew.html We used to do a standard nose wheel which had a smaller solid wheel but it only really worked on perfect or near perfect surfaces. The pneumatic wheel works really well and we sell loads of them Regards David

Hi Carl Our nose wheel will fit in but you will probably have to cut it down by 5mm so you can put the pin in Note from product description You will require a nose wheel bracket to attach it unless there is one already fitted (the max length the tube can be is 70mm or it will need to be cut down or a Nose Wheel Bracket bought). Regards David
