That's a good question and one I can't find the answer to however we have a medium in stock. My head is 58.5cms in circumference and it fits with grip enough to stop the wind blowing it off, given a choice I would probably go with a large and tighten using the adjuster so I could wear it looser in warm/lighter conditions I hope that helps David
