Low friction mast sleeve to prevent wear to the mast. These sleeves do wear with use and need replacing periodically - Keep an eye on it to save your mast
Note. This grey sleeve does need to work together with the grey mast collar EX12101.
When replacing the sleeve it's easiest to put the sleeve in a cup of hot water for a short time to heat and expand the sleeve to so it fits on the mast. It's also possible to use a hair dryer or paint stripper (be careful it doesn't get too hot) these are also useful if the sleeve cools in the wrong place.
Fit to the mast so the centre of the collar is 215mm from the base of the mast or mark the mast before so the sleeve is just higher than the collar on the thwart.
