A silicone rubber sealant that fills and caulks gaps, joints and cracks around the boat. It is suitable for sealing joints where pipes or trunking for machinery pass through decks or bulkheads, and for sealing around hatches, portholes and windows, where a watertight flexible seal is required.
The Marine Silicone Sealant adheres to glass fibre, metal, glass, painted or varnished wood and most plastics. It can also be used for bedding-in deck and hull fittings, or for making gaskets in situ for water pumps, exhaust systems, etc. Unaffected by immersion in salt or fresh water.
