Foam gasket that seals between the hull and deck moulding at the top of the Topper daggerboard case.

These compress over time and the boat can start letting water in, the other obvious place in the bailer where you will find a similar gasket between the hull and deck mouldings.

Customer Questions
Hi Mark, Does the gasket need replacing or is this preventative? There is an argument that if it isn't broke then don't fix it. It may be the case that someone has glued the hull and cockpit together with mastic as that is what they had to hand at the time? Have you removed any centre mainsheet fixings in the area? Have you removed the bailer fixings? If all those are removed then you should be able to prise the two mouldings apart, be firm but gentle so you don't damage the plastic If still struggling maybe give us a call Regards David
