Swedish Fid for Splicing Ropes (Up to approx 16mm) - Stainless Steel with Wooden End Plug
This high-quality Swedish fid is designed for splicing 3-strand and 8-strand ropes up to approximately 16mm in diameter. Constructed from durable stainless steel with a smooth wooden end plug held in with a screw, the tapered design facilitates easy rope splicing. It effectively opens gaps in the rope to allow strands to pass through before removing the fid.
