The Laser 13 is a smaller,version of the Laser 16, 3 foot shorter! With a sturdy GRP hull weighing 136kg, including a metal centreboard that enhances its stability. Built between the late 1980s and late 1990s, it remains a popular choice for cruising and family outings, while also being suitable for single-handed sailing or racing with two crew. A Bermudan sloop rig features a furling jib, mainsail with slab reefing, and a large watertight storage locker beneath the foredeck. Additional features include built-in buoyancy, a self-draining cockpit with holes in the full-height transom, and optional extras such of an outboard bracket and symmetric spinnaker kit.
